Designated for Energy Efficiency and
Energy Star® qualification.
Engergy Star® qualified Trane 95 Furnaces deliver up to 96.7% efficiency, so that more of the fuel you pay for is turned into heat for your home. This AFUI (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency) rating is among the highest in the industry, far exceeding the federal government requirement of 78% AFUE for new furnaces. If you have a furnace that is at least 10 years old, it probably has an AFUE somewhere between 60 and 70, meaning up to 40 cents of every dollar you pay for fuel is wasted. Install a Trane high efficiency furnace, and you'll enjoy the ultimate in energy savings as well as comfort. |
An Energy Credit for Trane Furnaces
When you choose a Trane 95 high efficiency furnace, you can count on cost-effective performance year after year. Furthermore, when you purchase a 95 gas furnace with an AFUE of 95% or higher between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2010, you may also qualify for an energy tax credit of up to $1,500. To fully understand how the tax credit may apply to you, and what you can do to obtain one, you should consult a tax professional for advice on tax preparation. |
